Peugeot Partner Tepee
Discussion
I've been on the lookout for a 2nd vehicle to supplement my GR86 which daily use is starting to take the shine of, I was adamant I was wanting a Bipper/Nemo/Qubo but they were proving difficult to come by.
Enter the Peugeot Partner.
Better value than its Berlingo brother for an equivalent model, this 2011 with 127k on the clock and solid MOT history has set me back £1450.
Inside needs a deep clean but it's in overall good condition and TBH, I'm looking forward to spending time detailing it and bringing it up to standard.
I'm budgeting for a new clutch and general service but I'm hoping it will run well enough and prove to me a pleasantly capable workhorse.

Congrats!! Happy motoring.
Are you planning on micro camper fit/conversion?
No, micro camping doesn't really appeal to me and whilst I appreciate the work that goes into the conversions, I'm not sure the Berlingo/Partner is nearly big enough. Are you planning on micro camper fit/conversion?

I've one of these for the dogs, one has mobility issues so the ramp is ace (ex mobility). Fun little cars, mines the 1.6, not bad performance and feels little like a go kart (my main car is wafty 4x4 though). Manual gearbox feels really cheap/nasty. The suspension is also known to be very poor/prone to failure on them - but at the price you got it you can't really fault it!
Seats are really easy to take out - we use ours like a mini-van. Sliding doors are a real bonus.

Good buy, we’ve had a cheap ‘08 Berlingo Multispace for the last 4 years, bought originally as a stop gap whilst waiting for a lease delivery but it has been so useful we’ve kept it in the family ever since. Ours was about £1600 with nearly 160k on the clock at the time and now approaching 175k. It’s tatty close up but seems to very reliable after some preventive maintenance (clutch, cam belt etc). It spends most of its miles running from home to a stables nearby 3 times a week, and runs to the tip.
Picked 'Pat' (I know, right) up this evening and so far so good. No immediate areas of concern other than the knocking noticed in the first test drive which I'm assuming is the ball joint which was referenced as an advisory on the last MOT.
Filled it with BP Ultimate so hoping that will have a positive impact and will chuck some Redex in over the weekend.
Immediate plans are:

Immediate plans are:
- Full interior detail
- Limited outside detail given hosepipe ban.
- Refresh of steering wheel with leather steering wheel cover.
So far, so good.
500 miles in, a tank of posh diesel and some STP diesel additive and it's running pretty smoothly.
After a very deep interior clean, Mrs F is happy to be in it and already it's getting under both of our skins. Strange how some cars manage to do that.
I sense myself treading a fine line between on pro and reactive maintenance. I'm enjoy lite tinkering and bringing it back to good condition but I don't want to completely refresh all the things that could potentially go wrong. I guess that's all part of the of the adventure!
