Hi just want to show you all my 1992 renault 5 gt turbo i purchased last year. standard apart from the clio turbines and the obligotary dump valve .

apart from a few electrical gremlins, it has taken me to france twice this year and is now in storage for the winter . Absolutely love it, and the looks and conversations it sparks up from guys my age(40) is great. it will be at some shows next year with the standard wheels on

cant beat that dump valve sound on full boost . i have had faster and newer cars but the excitement you get driving this on a sunny saturday/sunday afternoon far outweighs anything for me .

Awesome all round! I'm sure some pics of the 106 would go down well!

Absolutely fantastic car. I remember when these were cheap and plentiful, so it's great to see the few that are left getting looked after.

I am the same age as you... bought a Renault 5 GT Turbo about 10 years ago for £1,200 and sold it a year later for £1,000 - I bet yours was a bit more than that! Gutted isn't the word lol.

Awesome cars, I'll have another one day! I was so close to getting a Raider, but the owner contacted me on the (supposed) purchase day to say he couldn't bring himself to let it go!
