Got a real soft spot for A30/A35. Had an early chassis number '53 AS3 model in Buckingham Green.
Endearing little cars, that invariably put a big smile on your face - enjoy those easily induced opposite-lock moments Cotty!
NB:- Is that a "LOL" plate I spy.... very apt 'cos that's exactly what teenage boys, stood by the roadside will do!

It was LDL 189, previous owner purchased car for the numberplate I bought it off him for £250 cleaned and tiedied it up a bit and sold for £500.
This was my first car, I got it when I was 16 and never really drove it. I just had fun just messing about with it.
I never knew that, I didnt look into the history as it came with bundles but it was so long ago I cant remember much.
I still have the numberplates under my bed, keep meaning to put them up in the garage but never got round to it. They are the original black and silver stamped plates. I had to get a new set made up for the new number.

Back in Sydney in the late sixties a bloke by the name of Peter Brock raced one with great success. It had a 3.3 litre Holden six cylinder engine and usually blitzed the opposition, great memories, John
