She's a 2012 registered 6 speed manual in Bianco Pastello paint finish. Took a couple of pics on a recent trip to Buttertubs Pass in Yorkshire:

Have always liked that wheel design. They do look good in red although I think white brings out the lines a bit better.

Enjoy your Alfas! beer

Brilliant car. Will get one once I find a mint one. Looked at them previously. Great design. I like the earlier ones best.

My understanding is that the later ones are auto only, and it’s not a great box.

Mine has won concourse trophies.
I mean, not now. But used to.
It’s well used now.

They're a lot of fun especially in dynamic mode, almost like driving a different car which for me is a plus as you can always switch back to normal if you want to be sensible. The early manuals seem to be quite a bit cheaper right now than the later auto models and as I understand it they're quite rare too, less than 1000 ever came to the UK, probably a bargain to be had out there somewhere.

Yeh they are, I wanted a QV but wanted one as modern as possible, ended up settling for the 1.4 MA other QV just as I wanted manual.

Harry's Garage did a good test of one up against the then new Golf GTi and rated the Alfa very highly especially the fast steering

I'm on my 3rd one now - it's getting to the point where the usual Giulietta gremlins are emerging but i'll persevere.

Rehabilitate or replace is the internal debate but I'll be driving a Giulietta for quite some time yet whatever i elect to do.

Out of interest; does anyone have the tool to lock the cams so I can do the cambelt.

Do I even dare ask what problems you've had? biglaugh

This one is my first and hoping to keep it for a long time, only 81k on the clock right now. I've had it for 2 years and had to do quite a lot to it but it's all been consumable stuff:

Full service and timing belt
Battery
4 new tyres
Brake discs, pads and fluid
Rear brake calipers
Hand brake cables
Lower front suspension arms
Exhaust centre/rear

Had the MOT(plus oil change) done recently and it passed with no advisories thankfully!

I've just done the cambelt on my cloverleaf. You're welcome to use the locking tools. Not too bad if a job.

My Giulietta has a slight knock from the rear and a creak/knock from the front.

So far I have had new wishbones (cheapish ones) and I am going to polybush the OEM ones at some point. I have just fitted new Uniroyal Rainsport 5 aswell.

Next up;
Mehyle HD ARB droplinks
Mtec brakes all around (330m Brembo front and 264mm rears)
Polybush engine mount lower
Xhaustworx mid silencer delete
Bigg Red rear caliper rebuild kits and new hoses

Might order some new top mounts for the front as well.

If you want to get rid of creaks i would avoid polybushes!

Our cloverleaf creaks at the front when it's cold. I think it's the wishbone bushes.

My knock was a top mount. Suspension quiet at the moment. Some interior rattles. smile

I really like these. I was sorely tempted to get one before I bought my 308 GTi. All the private examples I looked at were amazing. massive history files, cam belts done, matching tires etc. And they drive a lot better than most reviews say.
Plus a re-map and a LSD at Auto Lusso would have only been about a grand...
