Well it has been a whirlwind of a 5 weeks or so now (packing our lives into cases and heading to the Middle East.

As I posted in my other car threads, I had just got my brand new engine fitted in my RS and sold it, due to relocating to Dubai.

Well we are 5 weeks in now and absolutely loving it.

I have bought 2 vehicles so far. My wifes was pre planned but mine was not.

For the wife!

Jettour T2

2ltr turbo 4WD - Very high spec which is nice - Air con seats, pan roof etc

It has the green interior and orange belts etc and is a GCC spec so comes with the 10 year warranty.

I have had it in the desert and performs flawlessly, I haven't been brave enough for dune bashing and with it's Chinese heritage I will just leave it for the wife to daily drive.

Full matt black PPF
Defender style roof flights
All plastics gloss black
Gloss black wheels

I have ordered the wee ladders for the side and the tool box for chucking the kids beach stuff in, but other than that it's a cool machine.

So I wanted a C63, went to view 3 of them and 1 was ex flooding going by the smell and 2 were accident repaired from America, which was not an issue but the paint was shocking.

I opted for this.

Japenese Import Mercedes C43, 67km on it and all the toys in it, absolutely immaculate, all original paint with all of the import documents.

Silver - Not a colour I would usually buy but this just stood out and with it being so clean.
Red interior which is lovely.

It has bilstein suspension on it and a stage one map.

I have upgraded the screen inside for a larger touchscreen and wireless carplay which I did last night, pics to follow.

Car drives fantastic, I am over the moon with it, a perfect daily for going to the office and visiting clients when needed.

This is only a stop gap as I wanted something alot newer but this just stood out for being so clean and low KMs.

It's all original glass, Japenese toll reader, Mercedes incense in the glove box which I was told is quite rare, carbon spoiler.

I have ordered a new rear diffuser for it in carbon which should lads in the next couple of days and then I will just enjoy it.

And I have had it out at half desert road and done the obligatory high speed runs, I will post the videos up.

What is next?

I am planning a G wagon, G63 in a few months, probably a 2019 or there abouts, I was thinking R8 V10 or something like that but the kids love to come with me so needs to be 4 doors and fun.

Anyway I will update as I go.

So I fitted a new touch screen wireless carplay unit.

Took about 20mins to fit, and only 4 days from China to Dubai

We also took my wifes T2 up to the Hatta mountains on fathers day. The Middle East is beautiful.

C63 looks decent a lot of the jap imports have haircuts on the way to Dubai but that looks a good one

You need to get it out on the next Dubai drives event

Thankfully no trimming on this one, I was given and checked all the auction paperwork etc, the chap has a great rep in importing high spec BMW/Mercedes AMG and Lexus.

100% would love to go on that event.

How does the 2.0T hold up in the Jettour? Seems to win awards, so naturally not something we get here, lol!

I have no complaints, we sold our RR Sport in the UK, I hired one of these in February, had a G wagon then needed a vehicle for a few more days and all they had was this one, and we were blown away in terms of build quality and comfort.

Drives with no issues and was 22k british with the warranty I have no complaints.

Downside - You cannot put it into drive without a seatbelt, so if you want to quickly move it at the house on the driveway you need to clip in.
If you leave it running and take the keys out, it honks at you loud and for long haha.

Honestly I really can't knock it, the wife has done 3500km in 4 weeks with us moving house etc and she loves it.
