2013 Mini GP 1849/2000
Discussion
My new daily to compliment my EK9 summer car.
I have been looking at these for a few years.
With only 288 UK supplied (236 left?) There always seems to be a couple for sale but non that felt right for me, either really high mileage, catergorised or too little history, for my budget, plenty of nice ones at 20k+.
Waiting for the right one turned out to be the right thing to do.
54k miles, full Mini Service History and for sale by a Mini main dealer with a 12months unlimited mile warranty + 12 months roadside assistance.
It also happened to be the cheapest for sale at the time and delivery to my door!
I actually bought the car without viewing or speaking to anyone, just all by email and online.
It's just had OEM discs and pads all round. It's on 4 good PS5's. Preventative chain replacement 2000miles ago. It's all standard.
It has had 3 Bilstein coilover shock replacements under warranty, If any fail over the next 12 months I will be covered, beyond that I might switch to KW or Ohlins.
I have to say, I am quite pleased so far.
Think Il start a little blog here, be easier to direct folk for info, when i inevitably sell it down the line!
