Maroc challenge rookie v2
Discussion
Having taken much inspiration from Wilkinsn89 write up earlier this year and the terrific builds of poppopbangbang, my wife and I have committed to entering next years spring edition. among the million other questions I likely to have, one of the basics is the rally dates and how they relate to the running of the event? Next years dates are 19-27 march, so is the 19th the scrutineering and organisation day or the first “competitive” day? We are both self employed so trying to sort our travel logistics early.
I have popped this in readers cars, as there will be updates to this as that journey continues.

If it's the same as this spring, 19th will be the ferry. 20th will be link stage/checks. 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th are the stages, and 27th is link stage / ferry home (get back 28th to spain)I have popped this in readers cars, as there will be updates to this as that journey continues.

Looks like the Spanish ferry crossings that time of year are a bit thin !
They usually have one which is largely for them really, usually it'll be a mid morning Almeria getting into Nador in the evening. If weather is bad sometimes its delayed or brought forwardalfabeat said:
Excellent - I do enjoy these threads! What vehicle are you taking?
And in the best versions of these things, that’s where the story begins. I was pretty open to a lot of choices, but Mrs OD was adamant we needed to have a/c. I thought Japanese, manual and low range box. I really wanted to aim at a tight budget well within the “good holiday” money. So sight unseen, and having had a chat with the owner and maybe a beer on the Saturday I bought a non running Isuzu trooper 3.0.
One quick trip to Hereford from Sandhurst Berkshire a week later and “Suzy” was home
