Before I had the different FD but same engine spec a few of us did a 16v Golf+ mag test at Bruntingthorpe last April. Car was on the cover..
My best results were 0-60 6.6 , 0-100 17 secs 15.3 1/4 mile and 131 mph all proven with vbox GPS equipment.
Few mates with similar power were slightly quicker (late 14 1/4), but I put that down to my (poor) technique....

New engine on the way for the old Golf as the old one has got a bit noisy (crank)
