Seriously though it sounds like you got a duff model mate, my G reg 90 wasn't as bad as you experienced.

The thing is, the Defender is STILL the most capable off road vehicle, an unbelievably good workhorse and I'm VERY suprised you had troubles due to the cold but as I said sounds like you had a duff model.

What colour was it by the way?

Graham,as you can probably tell i was well pissed off when i was writing that.It brought back all the memories of what an arse it was and how much trouble it caused.It was green,pretty much the same colour as me every time it broke down

ahhh,no more problems now.Jap mobile is tested by terrorists all over the world so it must be good.Never had a single breakdown in the toyotas and collectively i've done over a hundred thousand miles..
