Picking my new Impreza UK300 up on Wednesday. Build number 91 of 300

Has the prodrive performance package fitted which should give circa 246bhp. Suspect its running a bit more though as it has a sports cat downpipe also.
18inch prodrive wheels
6 pot AP Racing Brakes
Later model bonnet vent and a halfords special grille biggrin both of which will be getting binned for the standard items asap.
Has the prodrive centre section but a different backbox of unknown origin....will be on the lookout for a prodrive item as the one on it is a bit too loud for my taste.
Prodrive headlights, rear spoiler and front splitter.
Oh and private plate included too. Car is originally on a 51 plate

Cant wait to pick her up Wednesday biggrin

I think they look much better with the prodrive lights...not a fan of the standard lights though.
Im more concerned with how the driving experience is because no Impreza can really be called a nice looking car biggrin

Up to last week Id never seen one out on the road. Then ive managed to find 3 for sale within a 20 mile radius. Wonder how many of the original 300 are out there?

Bugger what it looks like, its the way it drives right ? smile

Been looking at chopping my motor in for a Sti PPP, might have to drop the PPP for cheaper insurance tho.

How much you paying on this ?

IMO the PPP aint worth the money unless the car is still under warranty. You can get much better power gains and for cheaper by using a Subaru specialist. IRC scoobyclinic offer a stage 1 upgrade on the newage STI`s for about £1500 which gives around 320-330bhp. Im sure PPP is quite a bit more expensive but not sure without checking.

Im paying around £1000 fully comprehensive with 7 yrs no claims, no accidents, convictions, points etc. Luckily im 25 in a few months so will cancel current policy and go with someone else on my birthday.
Was really hard to get a quote due to my age.

Yeah 25 myself altho started on the full no claims after sitting on my parents insurance later so only 4 year NCB, no convictions or points or accidents.

the Sti PPP was 1070, standard Sti was only 900 !

Will have to do a little more research, cheers fella smile
