Hi,

Just thought I would say "Hello" as I have just joined PH. Below is a picture of my contribution to the environment...



This photo was taken last night, after a wash, deep clean, polish, and wax.

I have been into cars for a little while, and certainly have ideas above, and beyond my wallet.

...Chevy V8, 5.7lt, re-bored to 5.8, Holley 600cfm, and in need of a bit of tune!

BHP guestimate at 320+ BHP, but I need a new gearbox, and stickier rubber.

(corners are not an option)

Yeah, thats how they should be! Was talking to a friend with a 289'd one, and he said it was lethal.

Before I replaced the two "blown" exhaust manifold gaskets it sounded awesome (albeit a little blowy, with a subtle hint of tractor).

Now I get a few more MPG, but it's a little more sociable!
