NO TRACTION ...... UPDATE
Discussion
3 months ago I asked for advice re no traction on my galant v6, it took 13000 miles to wear out the constantly spinning Dunlop SP2000 tyres. I replaced them with Goodyear Eagle F1, result-- all the grip you would expect. So I will be keeping the car now! How can Dunlop make such a crap tyre ?
I think the SP2000 is an 'energy' tyre. They got put on an old Puma a ran a while ago (lease car hence no say in the tyres) and f
d that up too.
They supposedly give better fuel consumption by not gripping the road as well (or at all) as a proper sport tyre. Fine if you drive a family P.O.S. but not so good if you want to 'make progress'
