before the 'incident' i was playing with the idea of so many different cars to replace the focus, but it changed me somewhat, so now i am just about well enough to drive again i have got this





i have to admit it wasn't on my list pre-december (330d, a4 avant, 530d etc) but my life and priorities changed alot.

opinions please.......

What the hell did you do to manage that, glad you are ok but speed must have been a factor.


The Volvo is nice but not a comparison to the focus.

yep speed was a major factor, that and black ice, oh and whoever put that damn telegraph pole in the way of my off-roading!

funnily enough the focus just doesn't compare to the volvo for quality and presence

being pedantic, the Volvo S40/V50 are based on the same platform as the Focus.

Well Done that man, after 150+ cars we bought a volvo XC90 because 1) we will have 4 kids come next Sunday and 2) the standard of driving appears to be mad round our way now days (Crawley). I have to say the standard of finish in the Volvo is much better than the Merc ML it replaced (worst car ever!!) That said I cant bring myself to part with my 1999 Scooby that we have had since 3 years old, I'm sure it will go one day, I'm just not very good at selling things.....

after my massive accident in my vts i ended up with a black volvo v40 estate.

and very nice it is too!

it must be a subconcious thing.....
