Nice first ar smile

But best get the tint level checked as the driver's window looks iffy from the pic.

Will save hassle from BiB or culling someone you don't see coming.

Nice smile I had a pre-facelift one for my first car. Did everything it said on the tin and never had a single thing go wrong with it except for my own driving.

Prone to coming loose at the base, remove the cover and tighten the bolts not a major issue but could be an MOT faliure.
Nice first car by the way.

yeah, those tints don't look legal fella...

There are several ways to check (a tintman device would work nicely), and you definitely should....
it could cause serious problems if anything goes wrong while you're driving.

Is it best to get it done at a garage?

Also, the photo makes the windows look darker than they actually are, I'll take another tomorrow, is it only the front windows that causes problems?

If your not sure aboutt he window tint, take it wiht your named driver down the local cop shop, explain you have just purchased the car and want to check if legal

if they say yes get them to sign a sheet of paper saying legal tints and record time date and their number, if they say no then you know what to do

roaring off down the road screaming you will not take me alive copper is the best option in my book smile

it should pretty much be no tint on the front sides and windscreen... the rear window and rear side windows can be as dark as you like... if I recall correctly wink

Personally i think your best option on the tints would be to simply remove them... but then I do love OEM... *grumble grumble old man....* Should cost you nothing to remove other than a bit of time, patience and a hair dryer.

Other than that nice motor for a starter

Ok, so how exactly do i remove them? The front two are a bit scraped anyway.
Also, how do I tighten the handbrake bolts or is that a garage job?
And, how the hell do i get celotape marks off the window screen (that are from the for sale sign), ive tried windowlene to no luck!

Oh, and my passenger seat is stuck on its tracks... haha

Heat them all up with a hairdryer (melts the glue) and it should peel away with a gentle bit of pursuasion (razor blade)

Take it very carefully / slowly for best results... and not slicing your finger off.
