Hey!

Well, i'm 20 and this is my ride. She's nowhere near any of the exotica and amazing machines which I have been admiring on here (and which I myself one day aspire to own!) But I have to say i'm really pleased with her! Thanks to a few choice mods i'm now pretty happy (with the exception of a few scratches frown ) and i hope you guys (and girls) all like her!

For those who don't know, she's an '07 Fiat Grande Punto Sporting - bought with 14 miles on the clock in August she now has over 40k on the clock! I do a lot of motorway miles for work!!

I really like that. The shape of those new ones is great, looks good on the inside too, and a nice choice of colour.

Never owned a Fiat, but these newer hatches are definitely a lot more appealing these days.

thanks mate really appreciated! smile The quality of build for Fiat has definately improved dramatically! It's an awesome cruiser and it's not too much of a slouch either which makes it great fun to drive! It still gets the occasional niggles but tbh for the sake of having the best looking small hatch around (imo) i'd say it's definately worth it! smile

I drive a 57-plate GP in Active (read "poverty") spec, with a rip-snorting 1.2 litre engine. Feel the power. Hey, at least it's insurable for a 17-year old!

I agree with the comments that the GP is possibly the best-looking hatch around at the moment, especially in Sporting trim. The build quality has been surprisingly good, and they're arguably under-rated.

I really like these too, theres one lives on my street.

As a 'normal' small hatchback i really like seeing people who buy Fiats (or the old Alfa 147 aswell), rather than a conventional Astra/Honda or whatever.

Just because a car is 'normal' and cheap, doesn't mean it cant be beautiful and stylish.

Lovely that.

Is it a T-jet? My friend of 19yrs has one, its a stunning hot hatch, surprises alot of motorists as its a 1.4 turbo, circa 120bhp?

Here's a photograph I took of my friends:

haha thanks a lot for all the great comments everyone! biggrin I think the reason I like the GP so much is that it is that little bit different, it's funny because although the GPS is such a good value car there are very few of them on the road (certainly by me!)

Unfortunately it's not a T-Jet no...it's the Starjet running at about 110bhp...so it's not awesomely fast however it'll hold a steady high speed cruise and off the line she's pretty quick!! Unfortunately as there is no remap avaliable for the ECU I have i'm pretty limited in the way of performance mods and the money I would have to spend is best put towards my future motor! frown
