Hi,
I thought that I would post some details and pictures of my cars that I have had.
1) When I was 14/15 me and a mate bought a Mini Clubman Traveler in beige for £30. We used it to learn to drive on my mate’s farm and had lots of fun. The car died in the end after too much abuse.
2) My first road car was a Vauxhall Nova 1.2 Flair in Blue. I loved this car, this was probably due to how my life changed having my own transport. I did the usual thing that most people do at 17 and put a loud stereo in and an even louder exhaust on the car. Kept it for a couple of years until a Laguna ran into the back of me while sitting at a red light and shortened the car by two feet.
3) I then bought a Mk1 XR2 very cheap but it turned out that it was a total shed, so I sold it to a friend for more than I paid for it!
4) Next up was another Nova this time a GTE in Silver. This was a great car I kept the car standard looking but it had a blystein head and a different cam. Went like a rocket, well I was 19. I then sold this as I had started working full time and was given a company car.
5) I then bought my little MX5, bought cheap on a whim and I still have it two years on. It does very little as it is essential a 3rd car but I am planning to turn it into a track car. I have upgraded the suspension to KYB shocks and Eibach springs, also added a K&N and a Strut brace. I like this car because its back to basics, no abs, power steering or traction control
These are all cars that I have owned, I have been lucky enough to have some nice company cars over the years as well due to working in the motor trade. Some of which have been more exciting than others, for example;
