Just thought I'd post this up because I've washed it and now bored :P

Had this car since 18k miles, it's now showing 198k.

It does need a couple of bits, aesthetically, such as; Offside mirror cover, cover for the rear wiper nut, one peice of missing interior trim by cig lighter.

ermmmmmm why not? you don't have to drive around in a supercar to be a member of PH, it's about the person no the car

Don't worry - I do have a "PH Fund" which within the next year shall buy me an Alfa, hopefully.

I won't be getting rid of this car as it's probably worth about 2p and is perfect as a daily hack. (Never needed any real repairs / 55mpg)

Agreed, seems i rattled a few cages! sorry ears

I was merely commenting on the car, hardly a personal dig was it.

You've gotta be pretty comitted to put up with 180k miles in a Mk4 Disastra... hehe

Seriously though - my first few years of motoring were in an 8 valve poverty spec Mk4 , it as reasonably comfy, cheap and reliable.

As you've said - you've had it that long now you may aswell keep it forever.

Which I kinda have a lot of respect for - as close to 'free' motoring as your gonna get.

Save your pennies for weekend toys!
