My new motor. Had it 2mths, 4k later hasnt missed a beat. Is great. Just use it to pile up and down motorways, and for that it fits the bill!

Its a 146k 2000 facelifted E39 530i SE with comms pack, auto and fair few other bits and bobs. Had a lot done, pixels, new tyres & brakes all round and full exhaust and cat.

Want to get freeview TV and upgrade the ICE. And maybe an Alpina front spliter.

Some may remember I had a ancient 525i Touring. Thats still alive and kicking used daily (evenings) mainly on local trips now and on 229k

Good idea to use one car just for long trips and another for the local stuff, this one should last forever with that type of use.

Look after the E34 though, I've got as trackday next saturday and my poor old E36 touring will be loaded to the gunnels just to carry the spare wheels and tools and stuff.

the touring is still getting much pampering and use. having a front suspension overhaul on it this week.

O/T: now we have the 1995 318iS which is great! Really good fun.

Thats 4 BMWs in our family with close to 600k combined.....so very sad!!

Good to see you're looking after the E34 before I buy it off you wink

I've got 4 E36's ATM and I'm going to look at an M3 tomorrow so could soon be 5!

and I thought I was mad!

In all seriousness it may have to make way next year at some point, I want an Integra Type R and the 530i must stay, so good for my commute and have a van and my disposal if I ever need to move bits and bobs.
