Just wondering the best way really, I was thinking WD40, boiling water and a credit card? Then it may need a slight polish afterwards. Is that the best way to do it?

Cheers. Liam

The way I always do it is heat gun and small stanley blade (watch the bodywork) take your time it will work, if there is any glue left over just heat gun it and scrape it with your nails then a quick polish after much better

Sorry to confuse you didn't do it to my own car just car's in general and only do it if you know there aren't holes behind the badges.By the way how is your second c2 going remember reading about your mishap

Or to avoid carving into the paint, heat the badge and use a piece if strong cotton in a sawing motion up and down behind the badge.

Heat it with a hair dryer for about 5 minutes, then spray on bug or tar remover, leave to slak for about 5 mins then use dental floss to get in behind it and remove it. Repeat the process again to remove the left over gunk!

A good alternative to dental floss is fishing line.

Or..

Trick I found was the little applicators you get with body filler etc. with a thin edge. Worked wonders and got more than one part of the badge off at a time because they were good and rigid and were bigger than a credit card.
