Finally bought my first car at 18.

Decided i wanted a project car and nothing too fancy.

It's in need of some TLC but its just had practically a whole engine rebuild and recond gearbox (so i was told, it drives pretty sweet anyway)

Here's some pictures of now and i'll keep this updated with progress pictures etc...

Plans are to basically clean it up, recondition the wheels, repair bodykit or replace, sort sun roof out. Without turning into a pikey wagon i am going to fit a subtle sound system as i like my music pretty loud and of good qulaity.

Possibly respray the bonet but not 100% sure if i dislike it yet, looks nice in the sun, if only the whole car was black.

Let me know what you think, good or bad i'm not bothered as overtime i will be changing it to my taste so any advice is more than welcome!smile

thanks

North West Tom

Looks great - and I actually quite like the black bonnet, it looks almost old school race car smile

Well its a damn site better than the first car I had! About 5 times cheaper to insure as well, and that was 20 years ago!

Nice. Brings back some memories although the one I had was more rust than E30.

Cars seem to be deaer out there so it's kinda swings and roundabouts.

On the plus side they should be less rusty though thanks to the climate.

My thoughts exactly. I might go and plow my hard-earned cash into a PH Bar somewhere at the top of a nice windy cliff road.

Where in Cyprus are you, we have a place in Oroklini..................

2nd hand cars are very expensive compared to the UK, nearly dearer than new cars for some strange reason!!!

I'm in the Turkish side, Lapta.

Thanks for all comments, I would recomend one, not only for their looks but for drivability, comfort and general basicness.

Still learning the car and myself and quickly realising that it is totally different to a FWD (well more than i expected it to be anyway).

I'm moving to Cyprus too! Cheap insurance is what I call a good deal!

I have a new found love for the E30's, though I must say it would be a coupe for me.
