Just purchased this for £695, 112k, FSH, 3 owners, 12 months MOT, 5 months tax.
Its the fastest car I've owned to date so I'm pretty pleased with it.
The brakes are a bit spongy so I think the pads need changing and the brakes bleeding, a few other small issues but nothing that stops the car from running properly.
All the electrics work, including front heated seats which are bloody brilliant.
Potential of another 50 odd bhp with a remap for very little money. I think I'd better get used to the extra power and get the brakes sorted first though!

Love that. These things seriously tempt me, if I could bear to part with my little Eunos then I reckon it would almost definately be for one of these, the same as yours. Right money, right colour, right gearbox, perfect. Enjoy it and let us know how it treats you, I for one would be very interested.
fantastic saab my dad used to have those 9000 cse. brilliant engines he has previously owned 2 of them had to sell the white one due to me learning to drive really miss it. Reliable but she drank ALOT! if you look after it they dont seem to have much faults just electrics (which is usually most cars anyway) but particularly the saab, especially in the rain seems to have a weakness and electrics are more prone to failing and got wet more easily then the other cars we have had and that i have driven (apart from rover 400i it crashed on me when i went through huge puddle too fast - i no feel to any of the pedals lol had to sit it out and wait for it to drive abit)

Just thought I'd update this.
It had a few minor issues which have been resolved now, sticky relays causing main beam to stay on and hazard lights to stay on or off, boot gas struts replaced with decent 2nd hand ones, dash light dimmer faulty causing intermittent dash lights and a hole in downpipe welded up.
All pretty simple fixes if you have a bit of time.
Engine and gearbox oil changed, brake fluid replaced.
It has also now had a remapped ECU and is running approximately 230bhp and 360Nm, costing a grand total of £140! This consists of various pipes, a remapped ECU and an APC valve (variable boost valve controlled by the ECU). The ECU was remapped by one of the knowledgeable members of UKSaabs and is a well trodden path for turbocharged Saabs, there is free software available that allows you to edit and update the ECU very simply.
Fook me is it rapid now, the torque this thing is putting out is pretty brutal, there aren't many cars you can pick up and tune so easily for less than a grand.

Well after work yesterday it had averaged 33.5 MPG over 200 miles, I then fitted the ECU and gave it 40 miles of hard driving and it dropped to 30.5 MPG, but driving to work and back today which was a 40 miles of steady A road driving with the occasional overtake its settled down to 31 MPG, which I dont think is too bad.The only thing is that this extra power has revealed that the clutch is actually slipping, especially when you floor the throttle in 3rd, it can't handle the torque. It must be the original and was probably on the way out anyway. Ah well!
Great cars - my dad has had a couple and still has his 100k mile 2 owner 2.3T Anniversary. It just never goes wrong and they really are built like vaults. Useful turn of speed too, even at the original 200bhp.

They're OK, but that will be the LPT (150bhp), coupled to an auto box it won't set your world on fire. You could remap but the box won't stand too much abuse.
