Hi all

Picked this up this week, I've wanted one since they came out and finally got the balls to buy one biggrin

A mate of mine has taken a few pictures for me, it has changed a little since yesterday (I painted the gold badge black and removed the sticker) and I am absolutely loving it!

Its a 4.2 V8, with Nitron suspension and just decatted it today, the exhaust is otherwise standard. Sounds awesome with great pops and bangs when you come off the gas hehe

Nothing. And i mean nothing is going to give more performance for the money. Take a look at the old Clarkson video (Supercar shootout) to prove a point. It helps to be handy with spanners as maintainance costs are quite high. Regarding how it is percieved, then i normally get people just stop and stare with there mouths wide open when i drive by. Maybe its a lot to do with the colour my one is.thumbup

ps good man on getting one
Hi mate, it feels pretty damn quick when the l-o-n-g travel throttle finally reaches the end stop! It feels quicker than pretty much anything I have driven (not including the Atom!), certainly "feels" quicker than the GT4, I will have to drag it against that when Mrs Baz gets back to see for sure.

Its much better than I thought, its such an experience to drive, peering out of the upright and almost letter box window. Its incredibly exciting and you feel a real rush just pootling about. Definately awesome! biggrin

I have had a couple of issues but both mysteriously fixed themselves! One was wipers/indicators not working, that was traced to a low battery, a bit of driving around cured it. The second was a missfire than cured itself as well. I have a 3 month warranty from the dealer so not too worried at the moment.

Not sure what you mean how is it received by traffic? People let you out of junctions generally and pedestrians normally swing around for a good gawp when you rumple by.

And cheers, Blue Thunder hit the nail on the head pretty much! PS, catch up with you soon at a meet mate.

Well if you are ever around Buckinghamshire way mate, I'll take you out, no probs.

I haven't had and "coffee beans" given so far, just thumbs up and waves which is great! Plus, people can't see your face from the street unless the bend down so there would be little point!

I did get a clap and cheer this evening though, gave it a blip whilst stationary in traffic and to huge flames popped out! Perfect!

Congratulations! I've owned a couple of 4.5 cerbs - and love them!

I first saw this colour in 1998, where Patrick Buckland purchased the very first 4.2 Cerb - in this colour combo. Worthwhile googling Pat - as he is a great guy, and is the inventor of Carmageddon - the computer game.

Enjoy - as I know you will!
