Hi, first time post. As most people i have browsed the forum for a while.

I remember some people slating the Rover BRM so thought i'd stick a pic of mine up to show people who werent aware of them.

It might not be to the standards of some of the more "performance" cars on here but hey ho!

Bought it looking like this with a dead head gasket.

Had plenty of work to do to get it to my clean standards.

I wont bore people with loads of pics of progress on it. Just a few pics of how it is now.

I've added:

Front and rear strut braces (Made by myself)
52mm throttle body
-40mm springs
Catback 2.25" st steel exhaust (Old one fell off)
Rear orange spoiler (Marmite)
Drilled and grooved front discs
Custom badges (Made by myself)
Few other touches

Pic of the badges

And one of the interior

Comments and Critisism more than welcome.

I'm sure I have seen this on the way back from Chatham area about 4 months ago...

Not quite my cup of tea I'm afraid, but I am sure it goes pretty well.

Looks very tidy.

Love it. As an ex Vi owner I know what this car is capable of. Always felt the Vi was more understated but still like the BRM.

Thats a stock interior. All leather and billet allow knobs for the heater controls. Personally I love it and it's a huge step up from most hatches. Even £25k VAG ones. wink

I reckon if you changed the silver highlights to orange it would look quite nice smile

I loved these when they came out (I can't believe it was more than ten years ago!!).

You've got a lovely car there OP, I hope you get many miles of happy motoring out of her.

I like the interior, never knew BRM's came with that as standard.

I'll get some pics of the braces up at some point.

I'd always wanted a BRM, and this came up at a bargain price due to the HG going. only 50k on the clock too so cant be bad.

Its never going to set any records with 143bhp standard but it does surprise a few people who have been in it. Hopefully i can get it closer to 160 bhp with a few mods, should be pretty fun then.

I love them tbh, If your not already on, get onto themgzr.co.uk which is very good for information on 25s/ZR's etc etc Also good for parts, currently a BRM being broken on there.

Nice car smile

If you described this car to me I'd expect to hate it but actually it looks really good. The spoiler looks great, IMO.

How long did it take to make the badges?
