Well, I thought I may as well take some pictures after having it cleaned by the local Polish outfit.

It's slow, you have to rev the bks off it to get it anywhere, I've lost a wheel trim (Damn curbs jutting out at me) and it has a few battle scars, but I love it, it's my first car and it's bloody easy to drive - which is all I want for now.

Apologies for the crappy pictures too, as in winter, it apparently gets darker alot earlier.

Oh, and here's me with the weekend toy. Insurance was a bit of a pain but it was worth it in the end.

hehe

Very very easy to drive, didn't feel like I was going that fast, but I was hitting nearly 120 MPH down the main straight. Feels very well built and my god is it smooth, which is the total opposite to the Exige. But, I still don't like the paddle shift - much prefer a manual box.

Going early next year, to drive the LP-640 hopefully.

Dan, you look like a right bender in that bottom photo wink

In all seriousness, nice car! A girl I know has a red one with alloys, it actually looks really nice, which was a shock when I first saw it! The 3 door isn't bad looking. I think they have a certain resemblence to the Mgeane actually...in a nice way smile

And Charlie, no need to insult peoples cars when you STILL have yet to buy any of those ones you continuously post on FB.

More 'doesn't appear to fit on your head, rather just sit on top of it' wink

Either way, I'm bloody jealous of you and that GTR! Well, I don't really like GTR's, but a car that fast, still... smile

Sorted, deleted a few posts that I felt didn't add value to the thread.

BTW No deletion mails have or will be sent to the posters.

ETA

My suggestion would be forget the reasons for the deletion and move on!

QUICKLY!

The issue is that this thread is way off topic and is unpleasant to read. I like PH to be a nice place for all, and ask (respectfully) that you all calm this down.

If not then there seems little point in keeping the thread open. I'm sorry if anyone disagrees with our rules, but I'd rather not have to intervene in the first place.

Thanks in advance for your understanding and thumbup Al.

Cracking for a first car chap, look after it (by which of course I mean thrash the living knackers out of it and run it into the ground) smile
