Hi all, newb here! Glad to be here, I think the cars owned by the forumites on this website are just fantastic, and I'm ashamed to say mine doesn't quite meet the standards! I am looking to get an MX5 next after my dalliance into Japanese imports!
Lowered 35mm, uprated Bilstein dampers, lower strut brace, 75bhp of throbbing POWAH!!

The roof on that folds quite neatly. How much bootspace does it rob? How does the boot open, top or bottom?

It's not bad - Nissan gave it a bit of a think-through admittedly!
The roof sort of folds on top of the boot space on a metal shelf which steals quite a lot of boot space. There is a lot of roof to fold though! The boot lid opens upwards.

mrdelmonte - It is quite a bit heavier than the standard car - 1140kgs, so it's obviously no sports car! All the gubbins included adds to it too. It's really just designed for sedate acceleration and crusing! It's a manual though luckily, so I'm not stuck waiting for it to accelerate then change gear!
But for a Cabriolet conversion, I agree, there are worse ones out there!

Not much stays with a CVT Micra below 40!

The continuously variable auto really is very nippy since it keeps the engine in the POWAH!! band at all times.

Sounds a bit odd and LOUD though...

I imagine the Micra is quite an old one with the clunky CVT? I've never driven a CVT Nissan myself, I prefer manuals

Good job ,the CVT ones dont last much past 60k! kept many a gearbox repairer going in days gone by!
