Hi I've just joined and am posting some details of my car.
It is a Subaru R2. There are only 2 that I know of in the UK, I own 1 and Lichfields own the other.
Not to every ones taste but this is also my daily Driver.
660cc FWD with CVT gearbox
Very economical but a pain if I want parts.

I am also a member of Surrey Scoobies,

I also have another Subaru Kei that I shall be advertising for sale after the weekend.

Thanks for looking , Mike

It's interesting...

Is it just basically a supermini with an autobox and a subaru badge then? I assume that it's turbocharged?

Micro mini- No mine is not turbo charged, single point fuel injection. Practical for two people and the grandaughter when she comes to visit.

I clicked on this expecting to see a mental Impreza drift beast hehe

I do like the dash. What's the power/torque in this?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_R2
660cc Auto CVT box SOHC single point Injection, approx 45bhp.
5 door, Aircon, Electric mirrors including foldback,Electric windows all round, factory tinted rear windows.
Slow but very comfortable - and different.
Max speed approx 85mph, 57mpg, 30L fuel tank, £35 road tax,
Stereo has been changed to a UK spec head unit, Still got the Jap unit in the picture kept in the shed..
Tyres 155x65x14(Falken)
Only modifications have been fitting a sun strip and reversing sensors.
This car is for every day use and being kept std.
However am looking at buying a different Kei Car for a project- one of the Turbo Pocket rockets.
Just need to sell my Sambar Van first.

OP: What age is it ? I wondered about SVA and how easy it is to import 'unique' cars from Japan.

I always fancied a Toyota Will

but have been put off by difficulty registering a rarely imported car.

One Impreza to another "Look, a girl Subaru, IM HAVING IT"

It's a funky thing, would make me smile if I saw it on the road for some reason!

No Mine is 4 cylinder. The first R-2 was a 2 cylinder about 360cc if I recollect.
