Well as i was a little bored and the missus went out to the pictures with a few friends i decided to get the old gal out and take her down to the garage.

Whilst there i gave her a bath, it amazes me when i wash this car how nice it really is, once i was happy it was clean i decided to get it on the mot ramp and put a fresh ticket on it (the old one expired over 6 weeks ago)

On the ramp she goes-

Started out checking all the lights but weirdly i had no front indicators and the drivers side repeater also didnt want to play ball, after some head scratching i managed to sort it out.

This came in very handy-

Getting this out was a mission in itself-

Once fixed we had light-

Along with the rest-

The emissions test was pleasing to see, means all the hassle of fitting the gti6 lambda and the 205 original cat modified to fit worked well-

Heres the emissions-

The rest of photo's are just random-

All tucked up again in the garage now, done a total of 16 miles from last years testredface

It was great driving it today and the attention it gets is great, stopped at the traffic lights in town and a subaru stopped next to me, when the lights went green he was still sat there as he had been looking over the car:lol

Well i have left it at the garage so i will use it this week, i agree it is a waste but then when you run a garage when do you get time to drive your own cars, we do recoveries etc so i am always in the recovery truck.

Its nice to have and with only 66k miles on it its like cash in the bank, never going to loose any money, plus its my pride and joy and its nice to know its there should i want to use it.

Sometimes i wish i had a normal everyday job then i could use it.

Nice car, a lot of work has gone in to making it that clean especially underneath but it is a shame you don't use it more.
