That's a custom made exhaust.

I'm pretty sure it's side exit so as to increase the ground clearance for when he's doing he two-wheeled stunts. (A proper exahust could be squashed when the car lands hard after the stunt.)

If you want a 'fruitier' sound then fitting exhaust and induction kits is easy, however be careful that the car doesn't run lean after you free up the breathing. Get the AFR's checked as you may need a tweak to your map.

Best bet I reckon will be:
- decat
- catback of your choice
- induction
- fuel pump
- remap
That lot should come in under £1k and add at least 40bhp to a standard car. If you want a bit more then get (in addition)
- 3 inch turbo elbow
- 3 inch turbo back (inc 3 inch decat)
- spark plugs
- standalone boost controller
