Its just south of Aberdeen, secret location as I don't want people stealing it!
Compared to the Gallardo - Its almost like a mini version (same colour) obviously not as quick in a straight line, but its handling makes up for it. I reckon I could drive it quicker A-B purely because its much more nimble. Its not quite got the V10 noise either, but you had to be really pressing on in the G to hear it in full force, which is quite difficult with such a powerful car on a back road.
Compared to the TVR - Must admit I miss the TVR. The noise made it for me. Loved it. But I really wanted something with warranty, and less to worry about. The Evora handles much better than the T350, but again isn't as quick on the straight parts. Its not slow, but compared to the previous two, it does lack slightly. On the plus side, I feel like I'm 'driving' it more often, rather than being a passenger in a very quick car, unable to press on.

Congratulations, I was shown round one at the Goodwood FOS and was very impressed, other than the Alpine stereo as it looks like a bit of an afterthought IMO. The Lotus guy I was chatting to (head of the dealership network I think)was adamant that not only is this the best all-rounder Lotus, it's also quicker round the Lotus test track than an Exige cup. If that's true, this must be one almighty car.

As for the interior, I guess only time will tell how well it wears.. I've read the leather is a higher quality (less plastic content) which means it might wear differently to its competition, but can't really comment so far. I personally really like the different interior, and think it gives it a bit of character.

I have, but only a short journey. Anyone over 5'8 seems to struggle, but its handy to have incase I need to pick two people up. The best position is sitting behind the driver, and legs behind the passenger seat. I wouldn't want to sit there for anymore than a half hour or so! Smaller people should be able to fit ok, its just the seat-roof distance isn't huge...lotusp said:

The sports exhaust sounds very nice, its not quiet loud enough for me, but seems to be getting louder as I put more miles on it. Perhaps its just sooting up!? Haven't had the chance to sort a video, but will try and get one HeavySoul said:

Longer distance is no bother, which I think is largely down to the seats, I find them very comfy! I drove nearly 500 miles in a day and no complaints. The pedals are slightly offset which take a bit to get used to, but don't bother me anymore. Two questions:

I've heard its quicker round the Ring than an Exige S, which suits impressive! The fact it is also a good long distance cruiser makes it a winner for me!Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
