After lot's of time spent both selling my 928 and hunting for the rigtht XJS i have finally done it! Bought the old girl last weekend!
She is a 1995 4.0 Celebration finished in Ice Blue with Barley leather...looks stunning in the flesh! She seems to have been loved with only a handful of owners and a fully stamped up book. There are a few bodywork blemishes to sort and the diamond cut wheels could do with a refurb (it is a 15 year old Jag after all!!) but luckily no major rust!!! As far as i can see she has never been welded and the sills are unusually NOT caked in the ominous black schultz!!!
Immediate jobs are sorting out a couple of tyres and getting the underside waxoyled then just a case of enjoying her and saving up for the cosmetic bits to be done by a reputable bodyshop.
