So following on from this thread Clicky I was on the hunt for a car. Before selling the BMW, I had set out to get my next commuter car as I will need one in a few months and I wanted something cheap and comfortable with a bit of space. Not sure what really happened there because I bought this-
It's a fairly standard Import Eunos 1.8i S, with 50k miles on the clock, recent new roof, and various other bits done during its life. My first drive with it was 170 miles home on a Sunny evening, with the roof down for some of the distance. It didn't take long to win me over, I can see now why these are so popular, and suddenly the abuse from friends for owning a hairdressers car seems to have no effect. Funny that.
It's not especially clean at the moment but I took it out for a spin tonight and grabbed a few pics-
I am not a fan of the wheels, mirrors, front plate or rear spoiler, so those will probably all be changed in time, along with some bits to make it deal with a track day or two. I think it is definitely a keeper, and whilst it will do as a commuter for a little while, I think it may replace my 205 in time.

Not a massive fan of them in white, or of the wing mirrors. Fantastic photos, though!
They make a surprisingly good commuter car - you can do quite a few miles in comfort with luggage, or you can choose to have a giggle if you aren't looking forward to your day.

I have heard of this steering wheel mod but I looked the other day, and I was under the impression it was just the round badge in the middle. If that's the case then that's just a moulded part of the rest of that centre section. Unless it's the whole centre section you remove?Mirrors aside it looks good, have fun!

The mirrors were on there when I got it but I haven't seen any other cars with them, are they a (very crap) factory option? Need shot of them anyway as rear visibility is pants.
Never seen mirrors like that before, I'd say aftermarket rather than factory. Mine has some little carbon-look aftermarket mirrors on it which look nice enough but keep getting shaken out of position so I need to find some way of tightening them up.
