My 944 S2 Cabriolet

Well I've had it a few weeks now but this weekend has been the first chance I have had to get some pictures taken.
It's a 1989 model which has covered 93k, I'm the fourth owner and the car came with a comprehensive service history all previous MOT's and a folder full of receipts. I've changed the belts and water pump along with a thermoswitch since I bought it, along with replacing the driveshaft bolt and fuel filter. It has a couple of cosmetic things which need doing in time, and will need a machine polish at some point as it looks like its been washed with wire wool.

I thought I would give a little update now it's been almost 5 months since I bought the car, and its been quite eventful.
It has been to a couple of Sunday service events and breakfast club meets, along with both the FOS and revival weekends. I also made my first trip to the ring and the car has been great to own and drive. It may not be the quickest car on the road but every drive is an event and I cannot help but smile every time I get in it. It also gets a few looks, I think this maybe because its a cabriolet and a little rarer then the coupe.
Its not all been ups though as its seen the inside of Brooklands car specialist too many times for my liking.
Repairs so far have been;
New belts and tensioners
New water pump
New clutch
New torsion beam
New thermostatic switch
Additional changes.
Brake pads and fluid change
K&N Air filter
Promax performance chip
Decat exhaust
Clear indicator lenses (Front and sides) The rears are being made as we speak so will hopefully be ready to go on over the holidays.
New stereo Inc bluetooth
I also purchased a second set of alloys off a tipec member so I have fitted those while the D90's get refurbished.
New indicator lenses.

Expensive to maintain? Or not more than what you'd expect normally.
I had done some research prior to buying it so I knew what to expect with the repair bills. What I didn't expect was the belts having to be replaced so soon after already being done. Expensive to maintain? Or not more than what you'd expect normally.

Yes that was me, just got back home and spent the last hour removing as much of the salt and grime from the car as possible.
