My 91 MK2 Golf GTI has done 143000 miles and runs as tight as a nut, does that qualify Though this is low miles for a GTI most on the forum have 150000 to 200000 still on the original engines !!!

Although it pales in comparison to the 444,444km a mate of mine caught on his old ute....
