The Coupé; my first 'PH' car

I literally could not be more happy with this car. After a week or so of searching around for 318i saloons for sale I stumpled upon this 323ci, after an optamistic phone call to my insurance company (I'm 20 so insurance is always an issue) they came back with the bargain price of an extra £36!

I got the car home last night and have literally fallen in love, its the first car I've owned that breaks the 10 seconds to 60 barrier (8 seconds).

The body work and interior looks like they should belong to a car half its age, it has also only done 67k miles.

A lovely car for a 20yo, all I would do it get a set of E46 330 alloys and thats about it

I've always hated the orange indicator lenses, I'd get some clear lenses if I could, really depends on if it would affect your insurance though.

Lots of 'em driven by younger drivers around these parts. They seem to be viewed as the 'next step' after a barried Corsa.

Up north here a BMW is seen as a "posh persons car"

Not many younger drivers in anything more than a 316i.

Most seem satisfied spending untold thousands on their corsa's and saxos.

Cheers everyone, I took it for a long drive today and its still has me beaming from ear to ear!

I'm not really a fan of modding cars but my friends are already trying to talk me into a remap.

Thats one thing I've been thnking about, I may pick up a cheap set off ebay.

Yes its a 2.5 straight 6. I would guess it is the same engine.

I was thinking about this, the problem is I live in the country side where the roads aren't great and I dont want to ruin a nice set of alloys on one of the huge pot holes. Plus I quite like the wheels that are on it already!

I know what you mean, in general terms the 3 series is quite common.

To be honest I dont see many young drivers with cars like this in my area, I guess it depends on where you are from though. At my uni there are quite a few 'premium brand' cars but they generally tend to be smaller petrol or diesel engines.

I mainly got it because its one of the most affordable drivers cars for my age which at the same time is also practicle.

I chop and change my cars quite regularly, that means I dont often have to pay for any thing other than insurance and petrol. Also, I buy cars at good prices so I generally make a profit when I come to sell them; I expect I will make about £500 profit when I sell this one. Though I can see myself keeping this car for quite a while.
