Just bought this today off a friend of mine.

Havent got it home yet.

Its year 2000, 1.8T, winter pack, RS6 Alloys, 80K miles, full VW service history. 150BHP version, will remap to 190BHP. Nursed like a baby.

Not people favourite Golf, but it looks in fantastic condition!

What other mods does it have?

I used to have one of these in silver - lovely car; really comfy Recaro seats; nice dash; just needed a bit more power and sharper handling. Your car does look lovely, probably needs lowering a bit though.

Some Eibach suspension and Anti roll bars would be my first mod, My old GTI was a bit of boat and it had only 20K on it.

What does the R32 have? Either get some of that or wrap in in vinyl

Looks tidy enough. The rear lamps would have to go for me though.

Are they genuine RS6 wheels or reps? They certainly don't look like 19"s...

I must admit I quite like the way the Mk4s look- particularly with the R32 front and 4-motion rear bumpers. Plus plenty of room for an FMIC under the R32...

Very nice car, one of my mates had one of these, he left the 'wood' as it was but I've seen others at shows with a carbon style wrap that looks good.

I liked it because its such a clean example, and the guy really nursed it like a baby.

No, they're not the best GTI by a long shot, but its still a decent car for the daily commute.

standard gti smoked ones.
a friend had one of these brand new with the leather recaros, the interior was very nice but the handling was far from "gti like",

I do like these but prefer the V5 with modded suspension, rarer and like the character of the engine.

They will be reps, the genuine RS6 wheels are a totally different fitment
