Its nothing tremendous over stock as far as numbers go- it's around 175bhp- although it hasnt been dyno'd so cant say for sure. However, the handling and responsivness is where this car and set-up come into its own biggrin And also when you take into account it weighs next to nothing its rather fun to drive! Especially with the Bride buckets and cage.

Hoping to get some trackdays and meets in with some fellow PHers asap!

I want one. Can't say anything other than that, Standard body, subtle wheels, lowered and a nice colour . no stupidly loud exhaust or anything, few engine parts and I would be sorted. It'd be a car for life for me.

No idea why I want one so much!

Thanks very much, glad you all like it smile It's done a 14.4 1/4 mile, so its not too shabby biggrin

And like you say, it's pretty subtle, until you see the bright blue cusco cage that is.

Now that is a beauty!!

Had a UK 16v as my first propper car and loved it. Spent some decent time/wonga on mine and then my old man went and stuffed it through a hedge in bad weather (poly bushes all round tend to make them a little twitchy!). I did get a couple of trackdays out of it, so I had my fun.

I spent a good while looking for a delete-spec tintop LSD SiR, but the right car never came up weeping

Mk2's are deffo destined for a good classic staus smile

Do you live in the West Sussex area? Pretty sure I've seen that car a couple of times on the Turners Hill Road.

I am in West-Sussex yeah, driver though Turners Hill on my way to East Grinstead or back home towards Chichester way.

They're FWD, lift off oversteer is more fun than drifting anyway tongue out

Thankyou! Where abouts are you? I've got a PH sticker on the back now so should be easy to spot.

Are there many meets that go on down this way? Will have to get to one!
