1967 Iso Grifo - What Colour?
Discussion
My '67 ISO is nearing completion following many years of restoration and heartache (see http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
The original colour was Rosso Corsa - but I feel that this is a bit too Ferrari. What do fellow PH's suggest?

Ok, I think my two suggestions fit the bill as they are quite neutral. I found a yellow one, is that too much?
Here is the titanium grey colour I mentioned-

Like it - less in your face than a bright red colour.
And it works nicely!
To be honest it looks great in all the colours posted here and your Grifo would have to be painted a seriously hideous shade to be anything other than lovely!
I would leave it red simply for originality, but I guess that would be silly if you don't like the colour. It is your car and the work you have done to it including a colour change just become another chapter in your ISO's long history.
Yellow is very bright but it looks pretty good in the metal. I associate yellow with Maserati for some reason, not that this would matter. I saw one in the summer at the Tatton car show.

I love the dark blue and the gunmetal, and the dark green, and the strange 'seventies gold. I love it in everything!
I think it is probably too modern a colour, but if you want a deep red Jaguar's Morocco is a lovely colour.

That dark red, that dark blue or a racing green. What a problem to have though... superb

Wonderful cars!
