My New Cerbera

I got it around 4 weeks ago and have only covered 50 miles in her due to the weather so its off the road now till spring,

So the work has started all over again like the Chimaera i used to have nothing major good service clean up and a few bits painted under the bonnet just to freshen up.

It had a massive ICE system in it, not my cup of tea so its all out and the helmet holder back in now. few KG's saved there.



I dont like the mesh in the grill so have ordered some auid RS4 stuff from Germany.

I was at first but these are growing on me, i like spiders but i dont have the roads round me to run 18" wheels with a tiny profile these are 17" and it drives really well on this set up its a catch 22.

Not a fan of that bonnet/mesh grill thing- suppose it does help to cool the engine bay.

Fantastic choice of a motor- it looks sooo special, and I love the muscular shape.

Yeah the bonnet and wheels are not to my taste but they are growing on me, I could not pass up on it as everthing else is really good on the car it used to belong to a TVR Indy so is not wanting for anything.

The Sound of the Cerbera is all the aural pleasure you require, I have a Speed Six Cerbera i've had it about 18 months and love it. Mine is also on axle stands in the garage at the moment as I am replacing a ball joint but have decided to go a bit further and replace the,bushes, lower ball joint,powdercoat the wishbones,nuts and bolts and a few other bits and pieces..enjoy.

Yup; plus the most fantastic interior and best dashboard, afaic.

I used to love just sitting in the thing, blipping it, simply to watch the tacho flick up then fall back, minus any, troublesome inertia.

If it were a moment from classic hard or indeed heavy rock, it might well be the crescendous screams of Ian Gillan during Child In Time.

I'm becoming increasingly aware that any chance of my owning one of the best of Wheelers Blackpool Bruisers is slipping through my fingers, these things are gonna get expensive. I thought my old Griff was rapid till I chased Flasher up the Duxford runway in his purple throbber complete with taped down windy wipers..... a wicked, wicked car

Cracking car, sold my Chimaera now but hopefully won't be too long until i can get another.

The bonnet is different and i think it looks very nice, agree on the mesh though but looks like you have that in hand.

The wheels I really like too, would look very nice painted/powder coated anthracite. Wouldn't be in a rush to swap them, apart from the RL/spiders there the nicest non TVR wheels I've seen on a Cerbie.

Enjoy and drive carefully over the winter months.

Ah no nothing as yet, doing up the house so no toys for now! They do get under your skin though, i must admit... one day!!
