I really want a go of one of these - how are you finding it? I guess it feels quite quick even after the Honda? Debadge the MPS bit on the boot and it would be even less noticeable (great fun - especially once remapped as you say)...

So far so good, quite thirsty if driven hard ( but what do you expect ) but getting around 29mpg, in gear times are quite impressive for what it is, has tons of grip and handles very well... its quite a refined car so i dont want it getting to daft or loud so will have to see what comes next wink

Got driven round Thruxton for a few laps in one of these. Suprisingly quick and well sorted motor. Nice.

I found it a bit understeery, even compared to my Octavia.

Managed to wangle some extra laps in the MX-5 instead...

Follow Evo's fast fleet MPS. I think the turbo has just gone on it! Might be worth a read if you are thinking of extracting more power.

Ive done abit of reading on them and it seems the turbo is only good for around 330bhp but i dont think i would want to go past that really its only ever going to be used on the road ( i think lol )

Understeer isn't something ive noticed yet but with the weather its not been the best conditions, was it the aero kit one you drove as it has the eibas suspension compared to the standard mps

it seems it can deffo hold its own though in its class

little update, finally ordered hypertech and got that loaded on ( so new map, boost limits in 1st and 2nd took off, top speed limiter removed ) just waiting for the new intake and TIP to turn up then i can load the better map, deffo pulls alot better then stock now though and mpg has gone from 26-27 to 32mpg round town so happy with that, car hasn't really missed a beat although i have lost DSC which is a common fault with these so thats going to cost me 200quid at mazda apart from that well happy with it and not bored yet which is unusual for me

little video i did on my way through germany

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlKdJT2kqHE

i get 60-100mph to around 6.5secs? so not to shabby should come down abit more once the CAI and TIP is one and the next map loaded should be another 10-20bhp up on now.

next arrival for the car

standard intake is so restrictive so this will help big time, can load the next map from hypertech once its on now

Would love a go of one of these. Does that filter replace the existing airbox? If so is there any way of stopping it sucking in hot air from the engine bay?

Looking good. Do these have recirculating valve in the turbo system, that runs silently?

Nice, quite a sleeper.

Is that air filter not sucking in a lot of hot air?
