Hey Folks

Been meaning to do one of these for ages! I bought my car last November, it's a 2007 and had 35k miles on it. Standard MPS spec plus Sat Nav and rear PDC.

I've had it over three months and still love it. I'm planning, at some point, to fit an induction kit and decent exhaust, and remap it to around 320bhp. It's completely standard at the moment, save the Ipod connector I fitted into the glovebox.

looks lovely mate.
i am loving my mps although i think it still could do with some tweeks.
i fancy taking it to about 329 bhp too.
i feel it shows its weight a bit to much as well and beter brakes and shocks are a must if uping the power and id want it even in standard form.
i must admit i really love the red looks fantastic.

Great car,

Is your one in the high tax band?...

Would love to get rid of my civic type r and get one of these but the thought of paying over 400 quid just to tax it makes me wince.

Cheers All.

You fancy taking it to about 329bhp? hehe

I think there's something wrong with my brakes because as soon as they get wet they pretty much stop working!

hehe You meant it when you said brief! No mention of it's impromptu adventure!

Looks really smart in red, what's down by the handbrake? SatNav controls or does it have adjustable diff trickery?
Please tell me they didn't miss a trick with the screen for the radio as they did in my mates 3 TS Hatch. It says 'HELLO!' on start-up, but should really say 'ZOOM-ZOOM!'...

lol sorry a typo but 330 bhp would be good lol
il be honest i don't think 2 piston calipers and 280mm discs and stop a 1600kg+ car with 256bhp very well!

Thanks! Yeah, it's ~£400 a year tax unfortunately. But, most cars are around £200 a year so this is only an extra £4 a week!

That's a remote control for the Sat Nav. You can either use it in-place or pull it out and let your passengers fanny around with it. rolleyes

Yeah, sat nav controls. IIRC it does only say Hello unfortunately.

Very nice, Arse! The red looks excellent, we've a few silver ones we look after at work so good to see something different.

irked

More pics of the Alfa.

Unfortunately it'll be going up for sale soon as it's not really practical for when mini-Arese arrives in June. Mrs Arese will be heart-broken when it goes.
