BMW E91 330i

After a lot of faffing about and thinking about different cars, I decided on this:



It's an auto with a few buttons to play with inside.

Dead chuffed so far. After YEARS of driving VAG diesels, it's a very nice place to sit and scoots along at an acceptable pace. The BMW auto is very nearly as good as VW's DSG and seems to suit the big engine very well. The leather's excellent for the kids - after a weekend's abuse, they've left no lasting marks. I've kept a VAG diesel in the family for the Mrs & kids to destroy.

Only thing is that alarming speed that the fuel gauge seems to drop. It's tricky to condition myself not to care. 90% of the time, I don't so that'll do nicely.

Wheels have just been properly refurbed, but it needs a proper polish to make it look how it should.

Very nice mate, always though that colour blue looks great on the 3 series

My 335i was that colour, looked great after a polish and at dusk, but it really was a bugger to keep looking good, by far the hardest I have owned for that which really surprised me.

Me too. I've got a real thing about estates at the minute. The saloon 3 series is tiny really, so this fits the bill for all the paraphernalia kids require.

4 years on and it's up for sale in the classifieds.

I've loved this car - thoroughly recommend these to anyone. So much so it's replacement is a ginger M135i currently being built by a chap in Germany somewhere..

It sounds like a great car, but after lots of head scratching yesterday afternoon i've decided that i have to go to The Dark Side and a diesel.

Yours sounds like it's the best 330i touring available, so someone on here should buy it!!!!!!

Pleasure - I 'm a car beard so it's nice to talk to people about them.

Dropped the price now so getting more interest. Breaks my heart to see good, proper petrol cars being shunned by "cheaper" diesels.
