Hello my first post so be nice :P
My first car a BMW E30 318iS. I waited 2 years to get a car of my own while saving up and driving the mothers 01 Hyundai Coupe se.

Mileage 126,000
No service History 5th owner was a mechanic and restored the car.
Only Covered 8000 miles since early 2007.
Engine doesn't rattle (common prob on M42's)
Little rust (Scuttle Fixing this in the summer)
No smoke.

Since November iv'e done
Thermostat change (Pig of a Job!)
Bleed brakes and new DOT 4
Oil Change 5w-40 Fuchs
Sanding down rust and repaint areas
Lamin X yellow headlight covers
Coolent change.
Cleaned the engine bay.

To Do jobs
Sort out scuttle rust
Get some toyo t1r's when these P6000 wear out( yes i know they suck)
New power steering fluid.
EBC Redstuff pads
remap on dyno
4.10LSD
refurb alloys
Volvo 940 chin spoiler.

What you guys think? now bad for a 19 year old. smile

Very nice. Put some interior pics up? Not a fan of the tinted headlamps though!

The 318IS is a great little car, especially as the majority of people think that because its not a 2.5 then its not a 'sporty' one... These are supposed to be more like a Junior M3 than the 325Sport is.

I always thought these were a classy little car so long as the 'bling' is not stuck on. Please keep it stock as is near perfect.

Cracking motor mate. I bet this falls into classic insurance too which must help out.

That looks like a cracker and definately worth spending a year in a Hyundai for!!!

The 318Is is the model i really wanted when i was a teenager but could only get my hands on a 318i 8v, its just not even close.
Never heard of people using Volvo front spoilers? going to have to google that, I am keener on the alpina front ends but these are bloody hard to get hold of which makes seeing Rich Hammond wrecking the one on his E30 on TG the other day even more irritating.

Cracking looking motor! thumbup

Saw a great plate for you today. I was picking some parts up from Stratstone in Chesterfield today and there was a 530i with the number plate; BMW 1S.
