Hi all my first post on the site. Thought i'd put up some snaps of my EP3 Type R. Had her a while now and shes a beauty, low milage, full history, 1 lady owner previously to me, perfect bodywork wise.

I've not wanted to mess around with it too much but i've made a few exhaust/intake/ecu/chassis tweaks in my ownership but keeping it simple and concentrating on saving for this summers euro/nurburg trip.

Previously i had a z4 roadster and then a boxster s but they were proving costly to run and maintain not to mention insure (Just turned 21). In general the ep3 was an all round better bet for me, here are some pics.

Thanks for looking, Marcus. Also i'm from Worcestershire if there are any local PHers.

Cheers, it was a 986 Boxster S 3.2. I averaged about 15mpg over the 5k i did in it, was very hard on rear tyres and not cheap too service. That said, on the right road it was a cracking car.

Certainly is mate, Pistonheads is a much nicer place to be to talk about cars and to learn about various things. Been on here a while now!

I didn't know you had a Z4 or a Boxster :| Was banned for a while though if you did post them hehe

Ah fair enough, I thought your ep3 was black ?

Yeah I went to see 3 turbos, and whilest I was deciding overnigt which of the 2 (3rd was a bit crap) to buy, they had both sold the next morning frown

So bit the bullet and got my Saxo fixed up, itll do till next insurance renewal smile

Wonderful car, love my EP3 it is in-fact my third one. If I can offer you any advice please get a fast road setup done, it totally transforms the car, it consists of adjustable rear camber arms and front camber bolts. I also changed my standard springs for Spoon Sports Spring which lower it slightly. The change is out of this world over stock!

Here a picture of mine:

Lovely car, looking at one myself soon. Very nice car history as well considering your age! Hopefully be able to have a look between a few before the end of the year.
