Day off today so decided to have a go at striping...
Before:

After:

£12 for the stripes, £2 for a knife. The masking tape, marker pen and hairdryer that were also needed, I already had so cost around £0.00
Took about 30-35 mins to fit, quite pleased with the result vs the cost of the outlay.

It’s certainly a job well done and who cares about what others think really, however..............
I often see stripes on cars that can’t cash the sporty cheques they are writing, if that makes sense, and this car is doing this for me.
Its only a personal opinion though and it does look ok, just unsure if it suits the car?????

I think the Smart's sporty, just not fast. I often see stripes on cars that can’t cash the sporty cheques they are writing, if that makes sense, and this car is doing this for me.

Like the idea but think they are far too skinny at the moment some thicker one's would look a lot better imo
I kind of thought wider striped would over power the car and end up covering almost all of the bonnet. I'd seen some and some with a big and small stripe (4 in total) and they where a little ott imo.Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
