Hi. This is my first post. I have 2 Vauxhalls as daily transports (an Insignia & a Corsa), since 2000 a 1969 VW Beetle Cabrio which is hardly ever used and which will have to go soon as my 16/17 year old son doesn't like it & wants a Mini, and finally a 1980 AM Lagonda which has done 107K, 74K of which in my ownership since 1995.
I love it & its foibles. What do you think?

Fantastic bit of kit, I never realised just how big they were until I saw one on the M42 a while back, I thought it was a stretched limo from a distance!

More pictures and info please OP!

Lovely lagonda, is your name Roger by any chance?

Edit - Seems as though according to your profile you are, I think I've seen your car in person before, has it been to Newby Hall before for the classic show there?

Sure I've seen it somewhere lol, lovely car. I think I just like how utterly mad they are.

Superb - good to see that it's putting on real miles and not sitting in a garage as a guilty indulgence.

I'm not a big fan of the shape, but I can't think of a car with more presence. smile

Roger, are you Site Admin of Lagondanet per chance? I've spent a fair degree of time on that site as a Lagonda is in my Dream Garage.... one day, one day....

Top of the class, with the Lagonda!

I've heard stories about horrific running costs...would be interested to get real world review from an owner. smile

You own one of my all-time favourite cars. MORE PICS NOW! Especially of that awesome 1980s dash... does it still work?

I've always had a soft spot for the Lagonda - I guess your user name is the chassis number??
