Picked this up this week. 2001 X reg Skoda Octavia 4x4 Turbo. 95000 odd miles.

No way i was just looking at these cars the last few days, i had a test drive of one last year and should have bought it. Very nice sir very understated cars.

I was going to buy one of these a couple of years ago. Very mappable engine. Could be fun with 180 - 225 bhp and 4wd. Good find looks to be in great condition.

Not sure. Feels a bit wallowy in the curves so she wud benefit I think from a little lowering and wider wheels.

Yes, slightly lower gearing than the vRS versions too so with a remap they become quite nippy.

I seriously considered one in the past, you can also easily fit the sporty seats out of a Golf GTi to improve the interior.

Def lower it a little. I'd be tempted to remap that at some point , nothing too mad though.

We had one identical to that until recently. Watch the central locking - it gets water in the module and then constantly clunks. Not particularly cheap to fix.
