Hi all

Been around for a while thought it was about time I said hi and posted pics of my cars. Tracked the M3 a couple of times which led to getting the Indy R as the M3 just eats brakes and tyres. JCW is my DD/commuter.

And where they live. Yup, I cant deny it, I "like" cars. ;-)

Crikey, I just noticed I've been a member for 55 months and 2 posts (both recently). Sorry, thats proper ignorant isnt it. I spent most of that time drooling in the classifieds as I saved up for each car.

On the collection, thanks. Caused some strife when the Mk arrived as wifey's tiguan now lives outside! hasnt been too bad so far but when it snows this winter, I'm in for some grief!

Wow, M3 and Mini Cooper in the same garage! Obviously a man with great taste...

Well, dunno about great taste (You should see my dress sense ;-) ) but I cant fault the R56 John Cooper Works Mini. Absolutely cracking little car, especially on B Roads. The JCW is my DD/Commuter. Goes like stink, corners like a go kart and has all the toys and creature comforts. The full length sunroof is a waste of money, far too noisy when open for my tastes but the exhaust note is the best of all three cars and the pedal positions for heel toe are absolutely bang on. Great brakes too.

In fact I can fault it, bit of torque steer and it tracks a bit on rough roads. Minor gripe though.Fits 4 adults too.

I think of it as an eager Terrier that always wants to play, thinks its as hard as the Doberman in the garage next door and never bites no matter how much you push it about. If it had a tail, it would be wagging furiously as it pawed at the garage door begging to go for a run. Funnily enough he's been known to cock a back leg too. :-)

Swapped the Jeep for a Tiguan which the wife uses. Jeep was ok but a bit basic tbh. Havent been on the TTF for 3 years, sold the TT for the M3 in 08.

IIRC you got the M3 when they first came out, then you had the breyton race on too, one of my fav combo's on the M3, looks wicked.

Year after, April 2008. Yes, the OEM 18s came off at about 800 miles. Used them for a couple of track days but sold them recently when the Indy arrived. M3's track days are over, I can only bring myself to put so many sets of brakes on it.

Just checked my lottery tickets from Saturday and got 2 numbers across 5 lines so my "collection" will be staying as is for the moment. Life just isnt fair. :-(
