2003/4 MINI Cooper S
Discussion
I've had quite a few Readers' Cars threads and am really enjoying the min so I thought I'd put some pics up of it.
Copied across from Minitorque so forgive the slightly geeky feel.
So.. Without further ado...
Here is it with photos from as it was as bought right up to now.

and with a bit of claying and washing..

Some of the above gave me a decent looking engine bay.

Not happy with the heavy, kerbed and corroded S Spokes so found some of these.

Which meant it looks like this

The MINI badge on the front had lost its black centre so I bought a new one... and a GP scoop surround.

and bought some JCW mats

So that's where I am now. The gap is horrific I know but two tyres were dead on the S spokes so I needed to get that covered first... It'll come though.
Further plans: 17% pulley, Dave F, plugs etc, 1320 remap... decent coilovers. Then sometime after I've killed these brakes, a set of R56 S 4 pots.
Hope you like.. Try not to hate too much.

Very Nice!
I have a MINI Cooper S on my must-have list. Yours is really nice.
If I'm honest I prefer the MINI aloys, but I can see why you changed them if they were badly kerbed. Still looks smart though. Well done on keeping it smart aswell, with all those car cleaning products.
ETA: I like the mats in the footwell too

Not so keen on the new alloys i think the standard ones are the best for the mini they work well with the curves as it has no hard edges. But each to there own.
Did your come fitted with the front spot lights? And i heard you have to frill the bonnet to fit them?
