Thanks for the responses guys.

I’ll certainly take a look at the B4s dampers and a set of springs 👍

Outside of that I’m really happy with it

A pity they never made a M4 GC.
This. Times a million!
A constant bone of contention for me too!

Lovely car OP, I have a 2015 428i GC that I started a readers cars thread on nearly 3 years ago now, they're great cars, mine has been faultless in all the time I've had it.

I really wouldn't bother fitting coil-overs to a road car.

My Z4M came with a set of H & R coil-overs already fitted, but they are only adjustable for ride height so lowering springs and new dampers would have been a cheaper option!

Quality coil-overs are also adjustable for compression and rebound, but when are you going to adjust the settings if you only ever use the car on the road?
I don't agree with that

I had fully adjustable coilovers fitted to my 1st 2 E39 530i Sport's and ALL of my JDM Honda's and Mitsubishi's and I adjusted them regularly; depended on what driving I was doing, more so if I was doing a lot of B road blasts or disappearing up to The Lakes for a day out driving etc

They were also set up properly with corner weighting, tracking/alignment and set up for fast road driving (the Honda's had a lot more adjustability with the arms I'd fitted etc)

They work and can work well; but it's very much down to personal preferences; for me my cars were used mainly at the weekends when I was younger as I got the bus to work to save off the expensive town centre parking and when I was onsite at BAE I went in with my boss as we lived locally etc

But now, I'm older/wise (sort of) and want more comfort; so for me coilovers don't suit me and my car...

But if I were to buy a project car (which I'm seriously considering currently) and as an example a manual E46 330i - I'd more than likely fit coilovers to it as it would be used for more B road driving and similar

Very nice. Similar spec to mine, which is Jubilee Silver with the piano black trim which I specifically wanted. Mine has now done 65k as I'm using it for work and I get a company car allowance. Really like the car I just wish it had android auto as the sat nav is rubbish for picking up traffic issues
