944 S2 gear box oil /Swepco

Hi,
Will be getting some work done on my S2 and heard good things about Swepco to help eliminate/ reduce whine from gearbox. Has anybody tried it, and how much do I need?

Swepco is very good. I run it in both my 944's. You buy it in 1 US gallon containers, and ou will have some left over. Not enough to do another gearbox, alas.

I've never heard of it, but if it's fully synthetic then it should be pretty good. I just changed from a mineral oil with noise reducing additives, to fully synth and the difference is remarkable. The gearchange is a lot easier too.
